How can Rhino/Grasshopper support and enable Building Information Modeling on your built environment projects? Topics presented will include exchanging models/data with other BIM applications and processes, identifying plugins that will aid and abet the base Rhino/Grasshopper platform to do this, benefits to be derived from utilizing openBIM and improvements in Rhino6 to improve this process.
Jon Mirtschin
Jon Mirtschin received his Bachelor of Engineering/Science from the University of Melbourne, Australia. He worked for Connell Wagner and Expedition Engineering (London) before starting Geometry Gym Pty Ltd. Geometry Gym develops BIM software tools specifically for Model Exchange using openBIM standards such as IFC. These are primarily in the form of plugins for applications such as Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Tekla and various Structural Analysis applications
