Hermes
Foster + Partners
Hermes is an application that shares data across a number of client applications, including Grasshopper. We built it from scratch to run just about anywhere: on a single computer, a server on-premise and in the cloud. It provides a hybrid of low-latency synchronous communication with a long-term persistent store of transmitted messages.
Adam Davis
Adam Davis is a design systems analyst at Foster + Partners. His research includes work in design optimization, machine perception, data science, and ubiquitous sensing via the Internet of Things. Adam has written bespoke software to analyze complex issues in tall building design. He has also undertaken complex parametric BIM for projects such as Queen Alia International Airport, Amman, Jordan, and the Mobility Pavilion for the UAE World Expo 2020.
